Mystery surrounds why an Emirates pilot called for help – as it’s diverted and left stranded on the runway at Melbourne Airport

An Emirates pilot called for help on Thursday morning subsequent to arriving at the Melbourne Air terminal.

Flight EK406 ‘landed typically’ at the airplane terminal at the booked time of 5.25am in the wake of taking off from Dubai, an air terminal representative said.

It is obscure why the pilot called for help yet the ‘flying machine was towed into position by crisis administrations and travelers were held up 10 minutes,’ she said.

The representative said the episode was not a crisis.

The flying machine was planned to go ahead to Auckland from Melbourne at 12.45pm, however has apparently been drop, as indicated by The Messenger Sun.

The Auckland flight is recorded as still booked on live air activity radars.
